Dr. Rejane Correa is originally from Brazil where she attained her DDS at the Federal University of Goias in 1997 and worked at her own Family Dental Practice in Goiania. After moving to Canada in 2007 with her husband, she attended the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, graduating with honours in 2012.
She was the recipient of the Crown and Bridge Study Club and John A. Bothwell Scholarships, as well as Davis Orthodontics and John A. Sherman Memorial Awards upon graduation when she was also invited to be a member of the prestigious OKU (Omicrom Kappa Upsilon) Honor Dental Society.
She is very active and interested in organized Dentistry advocating for access to dental care. She was the student representative and now a councilor of the Ontario Dental Association having received the ODA Committee Service Award in 2012. She is also an executive councilor at Toronto Central Dental Society and has published research in Dental Public Health.
She has volunteered twice in Haiti bringing dental care to less fortunate population and in Toronto with the Sharing Smiles Day-OHTH (special needs patients). Having a keen interest in different cultures she is fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish and French.
Dr. Rejane believes prevention and patient education are essential to achieve oral health along with minimally invasive and evidence based Dentistry. She renders all aspects of general practice being certified in conscious sedation (nitrous oxide). Patients know her to be very caring and passionate about transforming smiles.
